It all started with a ‘quibble’, you know, that itch in the back of your head or tug in the center of your heart that keeps saying ‘find your passion’. This ‘quibble’ traveled with me throughout my life. Just when I thought I'd hit pay dirt with a new job or career, the ‘quibble’ would say, “Not yet, Rosie. Not yet.”
It was a pot-bellied pig, a red crystal, and a note written to my dad when I was nine that helped me uncover my passion. The passion? Telling stories that bring a laugh to your belly, a tear to your eye, inspiration to your heart, or help you recall a long-forgotten memory.
Thank you for taking this journey with me. Enjoy!

“The best part about this book, every story. Rosie brings to life each story with such reality that I felt I was right there. This book is full of hope, joy, tears from the heart, and laughter. This will be my Christmas, Mother’s Day & Birthday gift to everyone!”

"Just one more story - that's what I'd tell myself when I started reading this book: "I'll read just one more and then I'll do my chores/go to sleep/ whatever task I was 'supposed' to be doing. It was nearly impossible to put down. Each story is so engaging, and draws you in.”
~ Tommy W.
“Rosie’s storytelling acumen makes for such soulful reading! From the power of Shoulder Taps to A Special Favor, Racquetball and a Forever Match and how she met and ultimately married her husband Jeff, Rosie’s collection of short stories leaves you with wit, wisdom and wanting to read more. Gotta go! My next story awaits!”
~ Sharon K.
“This is a book that will never find a home on your bookshelf. It will reside on your kitchen counter, or a nightstand by your bed, or even on your work desk. Because you'll never want to be far from something so small that delivers so many smiles with such ease.”
~ Sally T.
“Already on my third read, and this book's familiarity still cannot diminish the sense of wonderment and delight that each story delivers each time I read them. This little gem is very much like an ocean; it's not its size that matters, but rather it depth. It delivers its observational pearls in an unpretentious and carefree manner that are as easy on the mind as they are gentle on the heart. Rosie may say that she's a storyteller, but her true calling is as an expert observer of the human condition. Each of her stories reminds us of the intrinsic wisdom to be found in everyday living, and that is a reminder that none of us should take for granted.”
~ Charlotte M.
“Fear and beans! What a combination.”
~ Johnny B.
“Laughed myself silly reading Family. We should all take heed and listen more.”
~ Mike Y.
“Car Trips brought back memories of my family car trips. Thanks for the smiles.”
~ Mildred T.
“Loved the Gratitude recipe.”
~ Tom T.
“Rosie’s journey of laughter, tears and inspiration continues! Connecting recipes with the stories adds to the richness of each story making this another treasure to read whenever you need a smile. Rosie is truly a story teller.”
